Recording Mechanism
The recording mechanism shall be a liquid crystal display (LCD) with a 6-digit or more numeric display for kWh, including 1 decimal place. The width of the digits should be 5 mm.
The LCD display shall be of high quality and should not be damaged during the meter's service life. The displayed values shall be clear and have good contrast with the background. Under normal temperature and humidity conditions, the expected lifespan of the LCD shall be 15 years.
The LCD shall have a backlit display to facilitate reading parameters under low-light conditions. The 7-segment LCD shall accurately display the cumulative active energy and the maximum demand.
The LCD shall be configurable to operate even without the main power supply; i.e., in the event of a power outage, the meter reading can be accessed by pressing a button or via touch activation. For this purpose, the meter shall be equipped with a non-rechargeable, maintenance-free lithium battery to power the display when the main supply is interrupted. The battery also supports real-time data locking functionality. The battery life shall be 15 years, with a minimum capacity of 1,600 mAh. Battery life and capacity must be supported by relevant test reports.
