STE18-D split single phase STS prepayment energy meter adopts split structure, including main meter body and independent CIU (Customer Interface Unit) with numeric keypad. Fully compliant with IEC62053-21, IEC62055-31 and international STS token encryption standard.
The DIN rail mounted main meter can be installed inside distribution boxes, while the CIU keypad can be placed at easy-to-reach positions for tenants to input 20-digit recharge tokens, solving the inconvenience of integrated meter installation limitation.
It supports real-time power consumption measurement, low credit warning, overload, reverse wiring and anti-magnet anti-theft functions. The meter will automatically cut off power when balance is exhausted, greatly reducing electricity arrears risk for landlords and power bureaus, which is a popular split prepaid solution for African power renovation projects.
